The ninety-ninth article of the tenth chapter of the food safety law of People's Republic of China stipulates that the following terms of this law are: food safety, which means that food is non-toxic and harmless, conforms to the required nutritional requirements, and does not cause any acute, subacute or chronic harm to human health.
